Dave:  Congrats on an excellent purchase!  Regarding your non-functional 
air bag and check engine lights, the bulbs could be blown.  They are not 
held in by goo, but rather by fragile tabs that will break off if you are 
not careful when removing the instrument cluster (BTDT-after you break 
them, then they are held in by goo!!!).  

As far as the seat switches, they are not LED's but small lamps with red 
lenses.  Check out fellow q-lister Al Powell's excellent homepage--it's 
chock full of repair tips on those niggling repairs-including how to 
replace the lamps in the seat switches.  His URL is:
