I read, with interest the posting on snow tires in Utah.  I have an A4
q-tip, Avant-s ordered, and will be using it in the mts of NC (190" of
snow last year).  My concern with the Blizzaks is with handling, I don't
know if the same concern applies to the Guardex or not.  The Pirelli's
would seem a good compromise, in that they are good winter tires, yet
maintain the handling qualities of the car.  Comments appreciated. TIA
