1. A friend gave me a couple of old air force jumpsuits. Except in the worst
heat of summer they are a great way to protect my clothing from serious grime.
2. Don't wear a white tux to change your oil. Wear jeans and a non collectible
T shirt or sweat shirt. Roadside repairs in that white tux? (Phil with his
trunk full of tools?) Keep a jumpsuit or old lab coat in the trunk. Always
keep a rag handy to wipe your hands. Carry moist towelettes for clean up.
3. I guess my point is to keep the crud off the clothes that matter, and don't
worry about the battle scars on those that don't. They are, after all, badges
of honor!
