Re: 4ksq doesn't start when warm
Hi Nat,
A safer temporary fix is to run the fuel pump for about a minute or two before you
start the motor. This compresses the bubbles and allows your fuel to flow. To run
the pump by itself bridge the two main terminals for the fuel-pump relay in the fuse
box. Since your car is different your relay arrangement may vary so look for it.
As for the permanent fix I'll try again this weekend.

Hi Luis,
I saw your mesg from the Q-list. A friend of mine also have the same
problem as your on his '87-5000csq. And his solution is exactly what
you did--unscrewed the top bolt on the fuel distributor to release the
pressure. Then, restarted it. It sounds very risky, doesn't it? (I
used to laugh at him the first time when I saw he did it. Now, I got
used too it. :) )
Anyway, I have no solution for you, but could pls keep me inform if you
find a real solution.
Many thanks,
Nat
