As a way of avoiding all such future "extensive" housework, go to Sears
and buy a set of polyester work clothes (long pants and button-down
short-sleeved shirt).  They last FOREVER (I use a set my father used
in the early '70's for mowing lawns), and you don't care if they get
all nasty, because they are your work clothes.

Nominal Audi content:  I've change my clutch in these clothes.  I've
changed the springs/shocks in these clothes.  I've installed rear disc
brakes in these clothes.  I've done timing belt jobs in these clothes.
Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a second look from any woman, while
wearing these clothes.  :^(
