The OK letters are displayed at startup. The check engine light is
diplayed momentarily when a fault code is stored (typically while the
engine is running). The code remains in the ECU(in the '91 200) after
the light goes out and incedentally even after the engine is switched
off. Now if I only knew exactly which pin of which connector to put the
switch and LED on to pull the codes, I'd be set.
