Hmmm...Thought the Can-Am series (take II) died in '82 or '83. Anyway, he is
right, from what I'm told, about the ABS being turned off. (If it's there at
all...must be talking showroom stock or some such division.)

I'm not an expert but common sense tells me to leave it off or change the
sensor. Nice that Audi provides that option (to turn it off) by the way cuz
most cars don't. HTH
