My Audi Blurb was published in C&D, and mistake in R&T

HEy all,
I sent a letter to the Editor of Car and Driver, and it got published in the
november issue! There was an editorial several issues ago by Csaba Csere
that said despite the use of plastics, lightweight metals and Computer
design, cars have not gotten any lighter than 20 years ago. Today's top 5
sellers weight on average the same as the top 5 sellers of 20 years ago.
BUT, he failed to point out that due to weight savings of plastics we have
been able to add air bags, all wheel drive, ABS, complex engines, and lots of
heavy luxury items. I used the A4 as an example in my letter and went on and
on about all the great engineering that would make it heavy as a tank if it
weren't for plastics and aluminum. The letter was basically a big plug for
Audi.

ALso, if any of you get Road & Track, you will see on page 72 of the October
issue, they have a picture of an '95 540i and labeled it the new '98 540i.
 Opps. wrong body style completely!

That's all, i'm off to see about leasing an A4 1.8.
