RE: 4k tranny fluids
I used redline mtl in the tranny and differential and redline 80-90 weight
synthetic for the rear differential. It shifts just fine and was not too
expensive either. 1 warning, it does not take anywhere near the amount of
fluid in the rear diff that it suggests in the Bentley.

Hi all,
I've been trying to follow the transmission fluid thread, but I seem
to have gotten lost... So, I'm asking for advice on what type of fluid
to use in my front, center and rear diffs. Anyone had success with
particular brands? The owners manual suggests SAE 80 or W-90 for the
front and center, and SAE 90 for the rear, although it also goes on to
say the doesn't need to be changed... hmmmm
What are the pros/cons to going to different weights in these
applications? Keep in mind this is a 150k+ miles car...
TIA!
