This topic has been on this list a long time.  A claim of non interference
refers to hand turning only.  Anyone who thinks that a belt breaking near
redline won't cause interference (especially on a hydraulic valve motor)
really needs to do some more reading on the subject.  As a rule, every audi
owner should assume an engine to be interference, and just plain lucky if it
didn't.  NO exceptions.
