Re: A8 Electronic Speed Limitation?
I would not want to get caught driving in Montana with out of state plates
at much over 90 mph. There is a speed limit - "reasonable and prudent" in
the day time and 55(?) at night. State troopers do not think driving over
100mph, especially with children in the car!!!, is "reasonable and
prudent". They also do not take kindly to the notion of the "Montana Bahn"
where out of staters can drive as fast as they want.
That said, whenever I am in Montana, I definately have fun cruising at 100
with occasional spurts to 130+ in my 91 200q, which is not electronically
limited to 130 mph :-)
