Brian is right. I have just spoken with Rich @ Evans and he confirmed recommending 
installing a 5 to 7 psi cap.
Unfortunately, according to him, Audi/VW does not make caps rated @ less than 
19psi.
OTOH he claims that once the residual water is purged completely, the annoying 
sweet smell will be gone. We'll see...
So far I like the set-up.
