Umm, i am not even close to an expert, hell, i am really just talking 
aout of my ass, but that sounds like your diff may be locked.  I had a 
similar clank happen once with my diffs.  When you are doing the tight 
turn, does it get difficult to keep going, by that i mean, do you start 
to feel resistance?
