The system that is used in the 98 E320' is very like that which is used
in the M-Class SUV. Unlike the Quattro system which uses a "Torsen"
center dif., the MB uses an open, planitary center dif. and open dif's
front and rear. They then use the ABS system to sense wheel spin and
brake the spinning wheel, so as to transfer torque to the wheel(s) with
grip. The E class doesn't have a low range, as does the M-class.
