Anyway, VW is seems to be on the verge of introducing a W-12 engine in
"Passat Plus." It will be two VR6 glued side-by-side, forming "double-V"
in configuration. It will be named VR12, with 5.6 liters producing 400bhp
or some such.

One good news is that this new "Passat Plus" will not share the ASF used
to construct A8. It sounds like Audi has exclusive rights to use ASF for
sometime to come.
