Does this sentence above mean you are a Wing Commander fan as well? 

 I have been looking at my quattro all summer, just waiting to begin some
work on her. Other "home" projects have stopped me but maintaining that
vigilance through it all I have finally begun some serious repairs. In fact I
haven't even bothered to shave this morning in preperation for removing the
radiator. Knowing how my wife hates an unshaved face demonstrates my resolve.
