Bypassing gang,

Just a quick thought, does the deceleration valve open
during shifting? Or does it respond too slowly? If the
decel valve does open during shifting, could it cause a
lean condition (lag) when the airflow plate drops and then
has to come back up? 

On another thought, has anyone connected up a volt meter
(DMM) to the CIS air-flow plate potentiometer (on the side
of the air-flow plate, used for the fuel mileage calc) and
watched this voltage output during shifting, deceleration,
with and without the add on Bypass valve?

Just wondering......what the hell does that CIS airflow
plate do... during all this commotion........
