Good day to all,

What happens when you give a quattro guy a RWD BMW on loose 
surfaces?  ............................. showtime.

I would just like to take a minute to report on the second running of 
the SCCA Applehill Rallycross. Once again it was a big success. 
Everyone I spoke to who either ran it or spectated had a blast.
20 drivers showed up on the beautifull morning of october 12th.
Cars ranged from a modest rented Geo Prizm to an all out V6 twin 
turbo open class pro rally 90 quattro, with lots of GTI's, Subarus and
other quattros in between. The overall winner?, A Quattro. 

It looks like a championship is all lined up for next year, SCCA 
sanctioning and all. The championship will consist of five events 
running in gravel as well as snow (quattro call). Cars will be split 
in 4 classes based on their performance figures, and up to three 
drivers are allowed per car.

I will post information on each event as well as championship points 
and event reports in the future.
