I wonder why the BBC got Tiff Niedell to test drive the Hummer for Top Gear?

Last Sunday's Motorshow Top Gear proved that some cars can make Clarkson shut 
up - a certain blue 30V twin turbo V6 quattro on the Audi stand did the job, 
although I think that it was because he couldn't talk for drooling all over 
it. Unfortunately, some of the US vehicles on show had quite the opposite 
effect, the Cadillac received only a minor sneer but I got the impression that 
he probably might not like the Corvette very much. :-)
