RE: RESPONSE TO BAD MOUTHING OUR HEADLIGHT FILTERS

I was troubled to read the q-list today.  In several issues I read that
there were a couple of fellow q-listers who cast doubt on both the
credibility of the filters and their presence on the list.

To the gentleman who suspected SPAM let me say that it is not.  I am a
fellow q-lister and understood this forum to be a way for Audi
enthusiasts to buy, sell, trade, educate and otherwise be a place to
exchange information.  This is why I am a part of the list.  

The presence of the information about the filters is on the list merely
because I am a part of the company which manufactures them, and
recognized the appropriateness of informing such enthusiasts about the
product.  These entries on the list have not, and are not, a part of a
larger "sales scheme".  My salary is paid as a direct result of the
filter's legitimacy, and I am troubled by anyone who would take a public
position against ANY product, person or belief without initial
investigation.  It just simply is not fair and is damaging to the
reputation of others.  It is not honorable.

Surely I would be pleased to have every member of the list share in the
benefits of these filters, however my first concern and reference is as a
private q-lister.  

If anyone would like to further discuss the filters they can e-mail me
directly, outside of the list. 

Keep it light and keep it fun for everyone.  Let's not make it an
intimidating option to participate in the list for anyone.
