Just went through a complete overhaul of the font suspension on my buddie's
'85 5000s (which used to be mine, BTW). The crappy KYB (he never listened to my
advice against them) were seizing up intermittantly, depending on the angle of
force applied, and, man, did they trash the bushings! I have never seen before
a lower control arm bushing without one gramm of rubber in between the outer shell
and the inner bolt sleeve. Was it making a clank on every speed bump! Remember
that, Mike Z, you drove the poor car a week ago.
Now the car has every rubber piece in the suspension replaced and is riding on
Boge Pro-Gas all around (per my advice). At 12 years of age with well over 200kmi
on the clock it is as quiet and tight as my younger 200 with 1/3 the mileage.
