Ladies and Gentlemen (mein Herrn und Damen (sic)
I'm sorry for contributing to the rants and excessive BW . . . but
and unfortunately, I agree with the venting. Case in point. Today,
I was driving home. It's a beautiful autumn day here in beautiful
Centerport, NY. I come to a stop light. Across the light is a huge
Ford Expedition (Explorer), whatever. In it sits the "lady of the
manor". Mind you, this "lady" is maybe 5' nothing, head barely makes it
over the wheel, and when the light changes (she's turning left into our
lane), she just goes. No concern, no nothing. THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH
THE SUV GENERATION. No regard for the rest of the motoring public.
It's kinda like the 'merican attitude, I'm the biggest on the block, TS
if you don't like how I act. IMHO, big is not best, nor does it give
anyone the right to violate another person (driver's) right of way.
Standard disclaimers apply. And please note, I am an American, a
Vietvet and card carrying member of the the Indenpendent Party (last
Pres voted for was G. McGovern). Let there be Peace on Earth and let it
begin with ending the tyranny of SU. . . sorry, I got carried away.
Best to the List,
MJ Murphy
