by using relays, the current going through the headlight switch drops
down to miniscule levels, so the thing that flashes "OK" when you start
the car will mistakenly think that your headlights are blown.
the "fix" is to disable this check. i don't know how to do it since
i paid someone else to get all this done. actually it would be nice
if there was a nicer fix, since the 80W bulbs only last a year and
i had one of them go out while i was in the middle of nowhere and
did not realize it for hundreds of miles..
btw, get those korean made thingies.. same thing for half the price,
$8.95 or so. and get more than a pair 'cos you're going to be
replacing them often.
