There is this thing called the "Load Reduction Relay" on the ignition
line. It is off while you turn the starter. It is on when in the run
position. Almost all the accessories run after this relay. I have no
idea where it is, I think it's a 70 A relay (BIG spades on 30 and 87).
Should be on the back of the fuse box, though.
