Why don't you tell us whether the the huge "whatever" was red or black or
green (or whatever) so we can we can then use vehicle _color_ to help
fine-tune our irrational stereotypings!

And.... even though we both voted for McGovern, now ya' can't have my 200Q!!

P.S.: This will augment our SUV database that includes the recently posted
"fact" that SUVs are driven without passengers and are therefore
environmentally irresponsible. I suppose we Qlisters _rarely commit that
particular offense 'cause we always want rear-seat passengers to help with
f/r weight distribution?
:-)

C'mon, I know y'all are having a joke at my expense but I've been too dense
to catch on. But seriously, I _will indeed_ start taking note of whether or
not my fellow SUV drivers tend to be anti-social, self-absorbed,
penis-envying (or asserting) whale-killing midgets. Could be something
there--you never know.

P.P.S: This ends my efforts to defend SUVs on the Qlist. I actually don't
like our '96 Explorer very much--especially its intrusive "part-time and
never-quite-on-time" 4WD system. Quattro rules!
