Wiper blades,winter

Can someone shed some light on what type of wiper blade to buy for my 87 5000
quattro and where to buy ?  I need a winter blade that has the entire wiper
covered but the standard packages that have the five or six adapters do not
fit the arms .  The blizzard here in Denver Friday demonstrated how inferior
the "winter blades" without the covering are.  Car handled well of course,
but I had to stop every five minutes for wipers.
