replacing CQ fogs with PIAA 1000s

Listers:

I've pretty much decided to replace my battered
oem foglights (cracked lenses, broken mounting 
clips) with PIAA 1000s.

The PIAAs appear to require the least amount of
modification to fit into the stock foglight 
location.  I looked at Hella fogs, and even the 
smallest, the micro FF, will not fit without some
cutting.

Before I make my final decision, does anyone want
to share there experience with the 1000s, and
mail-order sources?
