Blizzaks - Traverse City

Well it looks like I just might have caught the Traverse City bus, and
will therefore need to get some serious snow tyres onto my old Urq 6J
rims.

Are Blizzaks the way to go or are there any better alternatives?

I am going to be driving the Urq up from Ft. Lauderdale, and was
wondering whether this would trash a new set of snows?  Its about 1,500
miles.

BTW I flew up last week and Traverse City is as great as you all
indicated.

It will be great to be within reasonable range of a few Q Club events
for a change.
