Re: "Out Of Fuel" warning lamp

:O
Could you write me up that table of values and meanings from the Bentley
manual, please? I only have the Haynes, and that doesn't give much.

Nope, not a diesel. I have to admit I did burst out laughing
when I read this message. :) Hmmmm...diesel, well that could explain why
my poor little turbo powered car is so powerless. :) hee hee, it thinks
it's a diesel. Must be saying to itself "hey, 125kW? Can't be right.
Choke
engine, choke engine!!!"

Where's the nitrous oxide setting? :)

Would it be asking too much to ask you to write up or scan and send me
the
pages of the Bentley manual that deals with these dip switches?

Fuel gauge does seem to be working fine. I assume those dip switch
settings are
for the auto-check computer's benefit and not the fuel gauge. I haven't
had a
new board computer put in. As far as I know the thing is still original
equipment.

Not to worry. I car pool and my passengers will just have to dock up to
keep
the tank above the critical "quarter tank problematic mass". :)
Thanks for the help. :)
Cheers!

PS: This story reminds me of my cat. I picked it up in a field about 11
years
ago, it was almost stoned to death (these poor things shouldn't
smoke so
much. Just kidding). We took it to the vet and had it checked. Then
when
we took it back to be sterilised we discovered that it was in fact a
male
cat and not a female as the vet had listed it before. :) Same story
now
with this thing thinking it is a diesel instead of a gasoline motor.
