graf water pump

Hi,

I just received my order for the water pump and timing belt on my '86 4kcsq.  I
was dismayed to see that they sent me a Graf Italien water pump, when I
requested a german pump.  I have heard some conflicting reports on the Graf.
I would like to hear some more opinions on this pump...

I did look through the archives, but I still can not get a good feeling if the
"turkey" sounds reported from a Graf pump are common or rare?  Should I send
this thing back and get a German pump instead?
