Check recent posts on odometer repair.  I assume your speedo is
working and you are experiencing the same thing as the rest of
us have had with our VDO speedometer heads.  If you don't have my post
from this week on removing the speedometer head, email me privately
(rather than
cluttering up the rest of the list) and I'll send it to you privately.
