The Audi 200Q run in the TransAm series did use a 10V engine and did
have a power of about 550hp. I'm not sure about boost but I saw
numbers of up to 2.8 bar. Hans Stuck made remarks that they can't
run higher boost pressure because the head gasket would blow. A local
shop specialized in electron beam welding did some test for Audi at
that time. They welded the head to the block to allow Audi to run
even higher powers. These special welded engines were never run as
far as I know and Audi also changed to the 20V engine when they
raced the Audi 90 IMSA GTO.
