I talked with one of his crew at a Killington Sports Car Club hillclimb at 
Okemo a few months ago and asked the same question.  It seems he was 
humorously trying to get on the list for Audi contingency money by putting 
the four rings on the front of his extremely FAST homebuilt and calling it an 
Audi !  Most people had a good laugh. And, based on his performance, Jerry 
had the last one.
