Yes, on the turbo cars, timing is controlled by the ECU, but all of the
normally aspirated cars (except for the fabled high compression 2.3l
motor) have their ignition timing controlled by the position of the
distributor.
Want to adjust the timing? Loosen the clamp holding the distributor and
grab your timing light!
