Paul,

I missed the original post on this one, and I don't know too
much about rear view mirror technology, but I have an electrochromic rear
view mirror out of a Cadillac in my 5KCSTQ. It dims itself at night
when it senses light behind you. I find it extremely effective, and a
tremendous use of modern technology. I haven't been up to any high
altitudes with it, but I have been through a couple pretty cold Michigan
winters, adn it seems to work fine so far. This mirror also has ouputs
to control side view mirrors, but I haven't been able to find any mirrors
that would work on my 5KCSTQ.
