Audi CS90 / GA Tech listers

Recently I was searching in vain for a parking space in an actual
parking deck here at GA Tech when I ran across an interesting car.  It
looked like a 93/94 90CS, black exterior except it had multi-spoke
wheels (14 spoke maybe?), VERY low profile tires, and on the trunk it
said "CS 90" instead of "90 CS".  The car still had dealer tags on it.  

So what's up with "CS 90"?  Is this some amazing sport version of the 90
that I never knew about (we can all dream), or did someone just fiddle
with the badges (more likely)?
Oh yea, is the owner a lister?
