Paul,

 Sorry if I offended you with the press release about electrochromic
mirrors being available on the '98 Audi's - In hind sight I should have
edited the text and made the message more personal.  My intent was not to
advertise but to inform the group that some new "TOYS" are becoming
available and get the general reaction to electrochromic mirrors in general
- not to have an in depth technical dissertation or advertise my company.
Besides, the technical info. is proprietary.
         I like electrochromic mirrors and it has nothing to do with who I
work for.  I especially  like  electrochromic outside mirrors - I have
spent many hours in the past driving with the mirrors turned so far out
that they were useless or holding my hand up to block the bright lights.  I
have an EC mirror in my '87 5kcstq - havn't tried it at 35 deg. below zero
yet and hope I don't have to this winter!    ---   marketing guy - NO
