Heh heh! Actually, I'm not going to be developing anything. :) I've been
told that if I can remove the current chip and put in a chip plugin bed
(which I can have done my the technicians here where I work) then I can
perhaps get a replacement chips *free*. :) Knowing what to change in the
chip would also help as I can then doing the reprogramming myself with
the equipment I have here.
Anyway, I'm therefore in the market for a 2nd hand MAC13 ECU unit with
which I can fiddle. Know anywhere I can go?

Louder sound, yes? Also, this "whole airbox" replacement jobbies just
wind up
feeding a hell of a lot more hot air in, don't they? You can really duct
the
air from the front of the car, can you?
I have been to Performance Coatings website about 3 weeks ago and now I
see
someone is trying to get a deal for members of this list. The claims are
damn fine, drops of 100 celcius on the coated headers. I'll be getting
hold of
them and asking if they have international workshops. If I could have
the
coating done I will do it as it is a coating both on the inside and
outside of
the headers and other pipes. And the stuff looks real nice, would mind a
aluminium-look or satin chrome look. :)
