RE: Oil leak on turbo lines...

Both new oil cooler hoses are about $70 from Parker. Problem is, you
have to spend some time under the car figuring out how to route them and
_precisely_ measuring how long should they be, as OE lines have very
cleverly bent fittings and Parker only makes 0, 45 and 90 degree
fittings. Don't even think about making them "look alike" the old ones,
they won't fit. I had to make my lines redone and still one of them rubs
on the engine mount, as I used straight fitting at the engine (I thought
there will be enough clearance, but there's not :-( ). Given number of
horror stories about blown engines etc. I'll probably have it done once
again using 45 degree fitting at the engine to be _sure_ the damn thing
won't blow.
Turbocharger supply and returm lines look like something that should be
custom manufactured to fit Audi.
