Re: Franco Sprocket (was Re: So Slow)
Well, I must admit this option hadn't occured to me. I suppose it's
possible for someone to recurve the distributor so that it provides
more advance and thus compensate for the retarding cam timing. I'm
not sure, but I think the Franco sprocket retards the cam timing a
total of 12 deg. from idle to redline, with a somewhat advanced
initial setting.
