Oil in intercooler pipe...
Well, my 200TQ engine is finally on a stand in the basement ready for
teardown. The first thing I removed was the pipe leading across the front
of the engine from the turbo to the intercooler. Standing it on it's side,
about 2-3 tablespoons of what appears to be motor oil ran out on the floor.
What should I infer from this? Bad turbo oil seals assuming there are
such things? It's not, could it be, normal? Should I be planning to
rebuild/replace the turbo as part of this rebuild?
Thanks,
Brandon Hull
