Then the original post about the Franco sprocket making ignition 
timing go the wrong way was incorrect, because at low rpms, both 
cam and ignition timing would be advanced to increase performance 
at that rpm range (then as rpms increase it goes the other way).

No offense at all intended, but I have a gut feeling that cam 
timing helps low end torque when it's retarded and high end 
torque when it's advanced.  I thought that's what (someone) 
posted about their experiences with putting the cam one notch 
off (8 degrees) in either direction.

Am I bass-ackwards once again?  Second opinions, please chime 
in!
