Where Do I start With 865kTQ

     On my 86 TQ 5000 It starts hard cold and hot . The cold start circuit DOES 
     NOT work sometime it will Idle fine... (900)  other time MOST of the time 
     it does not. The Audi dealer told me he does not have much exp. with the 
     5000 tq and lacks alot of the tools...I already ordered a Temp sensor for 
     it.  I think It would almost be cheaper to "shotgun" alot of these parts 
     because they are only $15.00 here $10.00 there, And besides every time I 
     look in that Bentley manual It tells you to use VW Tool Part Noxxxxxx  Yea! 
     Right! How about Just telling what its supposed to measure with a ohmmeter. 
     Not putting a 15K series resistor In line with Whatever. Im really getting 
     the itch to put this car on the road, but dont want to be humiliated when 
     it doesn't start. Esp. because Im German.
     
     How about a "quick guide"   anybody?
