knock sensor
check a loose connection first.  there is a connector on the firewall
near the windshield fluid bottle that can come loose of someone fooled
around there.  i think there should be a red band around the wire near
the connector.  the sensor is also sensitive to torque, but this is less
likely.  could also be that your engine is really knocking due to fuel
quality or a lean running condition.
