The August '96 issue of Volkswagen-Audi Car magazine had a nice 2 page
article of Volkswagens and Audis made in a new plant in Changchun which
cranked out 150,000 cars, 270,000 engines, and 180,000 gearboxes in '95.
The picture of the rear of an 100 is the spittin image of a 044 chassis.
Article claims that VW has a 59.5% share of the market in China. Maybe I
can get suspension parts from 'em ;-)
