No!  It will cause the rubber to deteriorate, and will smear the glass
_big_ time.  No, no and no!...>>

I thought silicon was acceptable for door seal rubber: saturate them and the
silicon causes them to swell back up similar to when new.  Is there another
product we should be using?  Or is silicon OK on rubber seals?
