Water injection for intercooler
Water injection for the intercooler has crossed my mind. Vehicles equipped
with a headlamp washer system could tap directly into the washer pump for
this system and wire it up separately for use during high boost conditions
when it is warm out (in the summer).
My S4 has a 6.5 liter washer tank, that would do nicely. It sits about 10
inches from the intercooler.
Living in CO I would have to hook up the headlamp washer to function
normally again, during the winter months, but hell the windchill is -16
today, how's that for cold charge air.
Any thoughts?
