Maybe. I'm an ME not a EE, so it starts to get over my head sometimes
pretty easily. :-)

Indeed, graydon the dist signal is ignored once running. Test is: start car,
move distributor 10 degrees, car still runs, but you get 2312 code, btdt. So
the gear will work in the MC cars (it starts at 0), just have to deal with
the light somehow. A program change to ignore that code is prolly not out of
possibility here.
