RE: The final word on expiring BOMBs
Hi,
I had the local dealer (Crosby) put the BOMB in friday afternoon; so
far, so bad. Not what you might think though.
As far as I can tell, the accumulator is fine - however the banjo bolt
screen was littered with metallic debris - BAD!
I had the G00 2000 replaced, but they say it looks like the power
steering pump is starting to go - did I mention BAD?
The thing is like $1100 (can)! I don't know what else it could be, or
what internal part of the pump would be disintegrating to put all those
nice metal shavings into the system. <sigh> As for price on the item, I
think you'll find Guildford offers the best for us canadian folk. Talk
to Andrew Mawdsley.
