Are A4 Windshields Plastic-Coated?

In anticipation of an upcoming long-distance drive this week, I went out
and bought a radar detector.  I was looking through the manual, and it
gives this warning about using the suction-cup mount to mount the detector
to the windshield:

"Some newer vehicles have a plastic coating on the inside of the
windshield designed to protect occupants in case of an accident. Use of
the windshield bracket on this type of windshield can permanently mark the
surface."

So... does anyone know if A4s have this type of windshield?
